All these dinosaurs with "status quo" opinions… smh!

It's not about disrespectful. It's about priority. Even the Shrewbury manager said they didn't care if Klopp is not there and sending those kids. Better chance for them anyway!

Stop romanticizing FA Cup! Yes, it's a valuable cup but Liverpool has way much bigger priority. Period!

No Jurgen klopp is resting 1st team on winter break is not
Because the fa cup is not a good cup to win , but because them 1st team boys have worked there socks off to 70 points 23 wins 1 draw, the magic that’s happening only becomes slowed the more they play and continue to go to the last minuets in matches like they have done numerous times this season, the boys need a break to continue and restore the amazing football they have been playing

The fa cup was always overhyped anyway by the bbc and English football, it means nothing to Liverpool considering where they are right now , it’s a cup for mid table teams and lower league teams . It has little value, can’t believe we are still trying to boost this bollocks trophy up in this far

If Liverpool think they are to big and rich for the oldest cup comp in the world they can withdraw from it and let others who care about it compete for it.

Manchester United, withdrew from the 1999–2000 competition due to their participation in the 2000 FIFA Club World…at least Liverpool are participating in the FA Cup…the FA Cup isn't our priority, klopp is not going to risk getting top player's injured to win the fa cup.. it's not disrespecting the fa cup by putting out the young boys…it's common sense…for Christ sake we are heading for our first league title in 30 year's…and hopefully the CL title. Klopp knows exactly what his doing. In Klopp we trust. …ynwa

There's an easy fix to this. Just abolish all replays and make a single game knockout the whole tournament.

Steve Nicol is unable to be objective , What a clown, If player exhaustion is a problem then why did he take his strongest team to that meaningless world club championship. after Liverpool win the league will he rest players or is he going to show his hand by trying to chase a league points record?

Play a stronger team? Its been a very long season so why would you risk your player getting injured in FA Cup? Mane is already out so Klopp has every right to save his players.

The only way that The FA Cup will get the kudos and respect it recieved for over a hundred years, is by rewarding the winners a place in The Champions League!
Taking the place from the team finishing fourth in the Premier League!
How the Fwk can finishing fourth in the prem. be regarded as a greater achievement than winning The FA Cup! Its totally wrong.
    Reward success not failure….

Not seeing the signs on the wall after the first overplayed young player is out (Rashford), I can´t believe the the stupidity of Burley.
Klopp should have played a stronger site at Shrewsbury to avoid a second game, yeah right and if someone would have been injured, the same Burley would have called him stupid for doing so. What an idiot.

lets face it fa cup is the only platform for club outside epl to compete with. some would take it as a golden chance to shine and they'll give their heart out. then in due time if it's went wrong an epl star player is injured while he is the club top scorer and they on the track to clinch a league title…? does it worthy enough to fight in this way….?

Craig Burley talks about respect for the opposing manager and Klopp should manage Liverpool for the game. What about respect for the manager that coaches these kids everyday. Makes sense that Klopp is letting him do his job with his team.

Its just unlucky for LIV to concede 2 goals with Fabinho, Lovren, Matip and Adrian. Anyway, Klopp's kid will be 2 months more mature than during their game vs AVL. Can't wait to see their progress in this rematch.

Why on earth would Liverpool prioritise a competition that pays 10 million or thereabouts? The Champion’s League is worth just under 100 million in prize money plus the mind boggling business revenue. The FA Cup is worthless.

It's freaking Shrewsbury, the youth should be able to beat them, why not? FFS stop all these stupid talks. And a manager can choose whoever he wants to play in a game.

Feel these guys miss a point. They say "If you want a break, play a stronger team". The other way to look at it "If they want a break (from the rest of this tournament due to how insignificant it is to them), play a weaker team (and lose, and never have to play it again)". The later is what Klopp is going by.

Well if he want to focous his best 11 for premier league and uefa its his choice and everyone should respect that ,, its not so easy to stay unbeaten and play game like they play so if manager decide to give some rest to his best 11 and give chance to yougster ,, that best decision a manager can make ,, who not only think bout wininng but also his players, its very impt , huge barca fan but right now liverpool is the best team

A winter break is a winter break. End of. A lot of players won't get a summer break due to the World Cup. This is why players get injured. This isn't a Klopp problem, but a problem between the Premier League and the FA.

This isn't a shitshow. Liverpool gonna play who they gonna play, doesn't matter, non issue – press making it a thing because Man City can't win the league. Wait until the injuries start rolling after the 2022 world cup if you want to see a shitshow.

Those who believe F.A Cup has any value are lost in the past. The final itself was the yearly event you look forward to. Nowadays I struggle to remember who played in Final. For example I could tell you every F.A Cup finalist of the 80s but I would struggle with the 2010s

In fairness, the game should have been a victory regardless. The penalty was not a penalty, and that handball against shrewsbury would have been given as a penalty had var been used.
